Zoya Shaikh joined METRO GSC India in August 2011, at the very beginning of our story and stands strong as Senior Project Manager, Change & Transformation. Over the last 14+ years, her journey has been testament to continuous transformation that is personal, professional, and purposeful.
Zoya mentions the opportunity to work with teams across geographies as one of the most meaningful aspects of her journey. These global interactions, she says, expanded her perspective and gradually shaped her into a confident professional, one who leads discussions, shares ideas with conviction, and inspires others through change. For Zoya, this inner evolution and empowerment stands out as her most significant achievement.
Having grown alongside the organization, she has seen METRO GSC consistently embrace innovation. From Lean transformation initiatives to Agile ways of working, she highlights a consistent focus on delivering smarter outcomes while empowering people.
Zoya’s own career reflects this spirit of possibility at METRO GSC. Starting in Operations, she went on to build her path in Change Management, a transition that speaks to the organization's culture of trust, learning, and growth. Along the way, she has learned that being change-ready isn’t just about adapting; it’s about stepping forward, taking the leap, and making that impact.
