About the Role
We are looking for a Solution Expert – Finance & Accounts to join our team supporting business-critical solutions within Finance & Accounting and related business areas.
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring stable operations, continuous improvement, and the successful evolution of business applications. You will play a key role in understanding business needs, translating them into solution designs, supporting day-to-day operations, and contributing to transformation and optimization initiatives across SAP and non-SAP solutions.
The position is primarily focused on application management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in a complex international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional solution designs and work items.
- Support and enhance business applications within Finance & Accounting and related domains.
- Act as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders and key users.
- Coordinate and support incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Drive root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, external service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end process stability.
- Support testing activities, releases, deployments, and solution enhancements.
- Contribute to process harmonization and standardization initiatives across business units and countries.
- Provide functional expertise for projects and strategic initiatives.
- Support the organization's application roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives across SAP and non-SAP solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5-8 years of professional experience in enterprise application environments.
- Strong functional knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes.
- Experience in business process analysis and functional solution design.
- Experience working in application management, support, or consulting environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered an advantage:
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger processes
- Controlling and Management Accounting
- Procurement-to-Pay processes
- SAP MM
- SAP REFX
- SAP integrations and interfaces
- Non-SAP Finance & Accounting applications
- Financial closing and reporting processes
- IT Service Management (ITIL)
- Global or multi-country application environments
- Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, Agile project delivery)
