Job Description
Role Overview
A senior full stack engineer with strong experience in MuleSoft integration and API-led connectivity. Someone with a solid foundation in Java and backend development, and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. A certified MuleSoft professional who can design, build, and manage APIs and integrations in a distributed, cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft Flows and integrations using Anypoint Studio and related tools.
- Build and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Lead the modernization of integration architecture and contribute to microservices design.
- Work closely with architects and product managers to align on integration strategies.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of integration solutions.
- Promote best practices in API design, testing, and CI/CD automation.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for cloud-native deployments (e.g., Kubernetes, GCP).
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Work Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on integration and backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for clean code, automation, and continuous improvement.
Certification: Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer – Level 1
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with API governance and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus, GCP Monitoring).
- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, RBAC, mTLS).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
